“We need to talk,” Candice announced, crossing her arms, and leaning against the check-out counter. The computer Helga was furiously typing on was situated close to the cash registers in case there was a need to order something for a customer.
“Is this store related?” Helga shot back, eyes flicking from her request for inventory sheet to the computer screen.
